This design was inspired by the client’s love for wine and their desire for a sophisticated atmosphere.
Our clients wanted
□ A place for their wine fridge
□ Storage (for china, wine glasses, bar accessories, etc)
□ Seating for ten
□ To brighten the room and ensure this design harmonized with the rest of their home
How I met those needs
☑ I presented a storage cabinet with refrigeration. This was a luxury addition to their dining room, providing refined design and function all within one piece, and has now become the ultimate party trick. No more eyesore wine fridge!
☑ The storage cabinet was quite large (72’’w x 25’’d x 36’’h), providing ample storage space for china and barware.
☑ The dining table was hand-made by a local craftsman specifically for this project. Side chairs flank the storage cabinet and can be used at the table for additional seats.
☑ I encouraged the clients to make decisions they wouldn’t normally make, like coffer the ceiling. The clients were apprehensive at first, but ultimately fell in love with this focal point and especially loved how much it brightened up the room.
