Our clients, both busy professionals, came to us seeking a full-service design solution that would allow them to focus their limited free time on their family. With their schedules demanding so much, they wanted a beautiful, functional home without the stress of making design decisions. We were thrilled to take on this project, ensuring that every detail was handled so they could enjoy the process from a distance while we brought their vision to life.

The client had a clear request—no renovations—so we worked creatively within the existing framework of the home. One of the main objectives was transforming the dining room into a play area for their young son while maintaining a cohesive aesthetic with the adjacent living spaces. The challenge was striking the perfect balance between sophistication and playfulness. We achieved this by incorporating versatile storage solutions, such as storage stools and a beautifully carved wooden console, which not only kept the space organized but also seamlessly blended with the home’s overall design.

In the expansive 15x15' living room, we embraced the natural light the clients loved, using mirrors and well-scaled furnishings to enhance the sense of space. A pair of stunning copper velvet swivel chairs were intentionally placed near the play area, allowing the family to engage in both spaces at once. For the family room, which serves as a movie, play, and game room, we embraced a functional yet stylish approach. Their existing green sectional was the foundation, complemented by custom geometric storage stools that tuck under a large, custom coffee table—perfect for Legos, board games, and additional seating for up to 12 guests.

One of the most rewarding aspects of this project was curating an art collection that truly reflected our client’s personality. During the "This or That" meeting, we discovered that while the client initially thought she loved abstract art, it was actually surrealism that spoke to her. With this insight, we sourced surrealist artwork from around the world, combining prints and originals to create a striking gallery wall - further enhanced by five of her own collected pieces. The moment she saw the proposal was unforgettable, her excitement confirming that we had captured her essence in the design. Ultimately, our goal was not just to create a beautiful home, but one that felt deeply personal, timeless, and reflective of the people who live in it. We are proud to have delivered a space that allows them to feel both inspired and at peace while effortlessly supporting their busy lifestyle.
