Through thoughtful conversations and careful planning, we uncovered a few key priorities: more storage, increased counter space, and a more intuitive flow for everyday living and entertaining.
To achieve this, we reimagined an entire wall of cabinetry—integrating a panel-ready refrigerator for a seamless look and designing a highly functional, beautifully organized pantry. Taller upper cabinets now frame the windows, creating both symmetry and added storage, while open shelving introduces a layer of charm and personality.
Some elements were too meaningful to change, so we chose to elevate them instead. The original pendant lighting was preserved and given a fresh backdrop. The beloved cookbook storage off the peninsula remained, ready to house well-used favorites.
And while the range hood location stayed, we transformed it with a
custom curved cover that feels both architectural and intentional.
From there, the details took shape.
A warm, sophisticated mushroom-toned cabinetry color was paired with a custom green island, crafted by local carpenter Garrett Basil. We layered in vintage-inspired fixtures and mixed metals to create a collected,
timeless feel.
For the countertops, we selected Cambria quartz with a mitered edge
for a refined, substantial presence. The island was softened with an ogee edge, adding a subtle touch of femininity.
A glossy ceramic tile backsplash introduces warmth and variation, bringing depth and light into the space.
Modern conveniences were thoughtfully integrated—under-cabinet and pantry lighting, along with a sleek dimmer system that enhances both function and ambiance.
The result is a kitchen that feels fresh, refined, and deeply personal—designed not only to look beautiful, but to support the way our clients truly live.
